Sing our own Song - End-of-Life Care

We are pleased to promote this report of a national consultation, of which we were a part, that takes note of some of the distinctive needs of the Irish community during end-of-life care. Having accompanied some of our own seniors in their end of life journey, and helped to arrange funerals and repatriations, we now how important and sensitive this issue is for many elderly Irish. The consultation involved agencies working in the Irish community, health care workers and hospice staff. The consultation Meitheal Muintire - End of Life Care Project was sponsored by the Irish in Britain and the Innisfree Housing Association.
