£2.00 per month could fund the travel costs of one of our volunteer befrienders. Together they help us break the silence of loneliness and ensure that our isolated older people are not forgotten.
£5.00 per month could provide an Irish prisoner with phone credit so that they can talk with their family who (living in Ireland) are often unable to visit in person. We know that re-offending rates drop dramatically when prisoners maintain family ties.
£10.00 per month could help us lobby government about the need for more legal pitches for Irish Travellers. According to official data, one third of caravan dwelling Travellers do not have a secure place to live. Providing this breaks the disastrous cycle of evictions, ensuring continuity in children’s education and access for families to basic rights and services.
